Today, beginning at sundown begins Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah is observed the first and second day of the seventh month of the Jewish calender, Tishri. Families gather together and celebrate the New Year yet it also a serious day because it is a day of judgement according to Judaism.
